What is ACTA? It is a proposed international treaty called the ‘Anti Counterfeit Trade Agreement’, and it is being described as SOPA’s bigger, meaner brother. What exactly ACTA will mean for the intertubes is a subject of debate, but it’s a big deal! It would be a tool for censoring the interwebs from many countries, not just the USA.
